Fresh air and lower energy bills
An FTX system recovers the heat from the extracted air and pre-warms the fresh supply air – up to 70% of the warmth stays in the house.
What is FTX?
FTX is balanced supply-and-extract ventilation with heat recovery. The system continuously replaces stale indoor air with fresh, filtered outdoor air – while capturing the heat that would otherwise be lost. The result is a stable indoor climate, less humidity and significantly lower heating costs.
What is ventilation?
Ventilation is the controlled exchange of air in a building – stale, humid air is removed and fresh outdoor air is brought in. In airtight, well-insulated homes the natural leakage through gaps is no longer enough, so mechanical ventilation is used. It keeps oxygen and humidity at steady levels while excess water vapour, odours and pollutants are removed continuously.
- Fresh, filtered outdoor air all year
- Controlled humidity – less mould risk
- Removal of odours and pollutants
- With heat recovery the warmth is reclaimed too
Why FTX pays off
Up to 70% recovery
Heat from the extracted air pre-warms the supply air and cuts your bill.
Fresh, filtered air
Pollen, dust and particles are filtered out before the air reaches you.
Less humidity & mould
Controlled ventilation keeps moisture away and protects the building.
Quiet and maintenance-free
Modern units are quiet and require minimal maintenance.
